Jingke (驚柯) is a major character in The Daily Life of the Immortal King. He is a sword spirit nurtured by Wang Ling.
Summary[]
He is a Spiritual Sword with untold power, with his bearer being Wang Ling, Jingke is shown to have a immeasurable energy, just as his master. Being Wang Ling's primary weapon, he demonstrates that he is always willing to fight on behalf of his master, and always proves to be violent and extravagant when attacking his enemies. He is able to do absurd things quite easily, where not even swords with demonic influence or time manipulation of Tuntian Ha are able to stop it.
Jingke is born from Heaven and Earth which explains why his power is Infinite and Nigh-Immmeasurable rather than only having the Immense and Nigh-Infinite powers of most swords spirits in the entire multiverse. He is able to destroy universes, cut time and space and even destroy or kill Gods and Buddhas as Wang Ling has always ordered him to kill Gods and Buddhas that are against them (Against the Peace of the World/Universe/Multiverse). He is truly swift and absolutely strike for the kill-type as he doesn't have mercy except during when Wang Ling gives mercy to the opponent.
He is popular with the female sword artisans to the point of passively making a harem with them. He is shy with female sword artisans but not other females that's close with Wang Ling. He can take care of himself far better than most Sword Spirits that has a Spirit Soul inside it. He is extremely cost effective considering he doesn't need regular maintenance but he still need to do maintenances at times just for a check-up and meet the female sword artisans.
Appearance[]
When in sword form, Jingke appears to be just a wooden sword at least 30 centimeters long. When he takes human form, he looks like a normal 10 year old kid. He has short spiked silver hair and red eyes. He wears a brown formal outfit, with golden details, below a large white tunic.
Personality[]
For most of the time, Jingke is seen calm and with an unexpressive face, much like his master. In most situations he looks pragmatic, introverted; and Intuitive. Despite this, Jingke still has childish behaviors and can easily lose patience in some situations.
He doesn't like it when other people attack his master, and will usually ask Ling if he can take that person down, even if he knows that they are no threat to Ling. This can be seen when Jingke wanted to finish off He Bufeng after the latter attacked his master.
When he entered awake mode, he became quite rebellious and aggressive, refusing to comply with Wang Ling's commands, much to Ling's frustration.
In the manhua version, when Jingke completely loses control he enters in the Wild mode, in this state his personality is inverted and he seems to have a shiny personality, where he seems confident, as well as having a strange side effect. Wang Ling says that Jingke's preferences in this mode are strange.
Story[]
Being referred to as master of all Spiritual Swords and the embodiment of the great sword path, by evil sword god in the manhua version. Jingke, In the year 4386, was handpicked by Wang Ling to be his sword when Ling was still 6 years old. Because of the seller's own fault, Jingke‘s sister Bai Qiao (White Sheath) ended up being separated from him.
Being stored at Ling's house, Jingke waited for master's orders. 10 years later Wang Ling seeks him out to be his spiritual sword during the competition between 60TH High and 59TH High, where among the various events Jingke helped to watch over He Bufeng and witnessed the destruction of Earth and the recreation of all space and time by Wang Ling himself. Since then his master bas been using Jingke quite often.
In early August 4396, during the second test measuring the spiritual power of the students, Jingke, held by Sun Rong, unintentionally made an attack too strong that ended up cracking of the space and opening a gate to the Demon World. A few days later the second demonic invasion took place, where Jingke helped his master in fighting the demons.
On September 29, 4396 Jingke was reunited with his long lost sister and finally got back together.
A few days passed and Jingke helped Wang Ling to destroy some summoned demons by Yoshiko Kyuumiya.
In the latest spiritual power test, Wang Ling asks Jingke to lend him his hand to replace his own so that it will not be messed up again, only the same thing happens again. Jingke immediately cleans it up.
Techniques[]
Terrible Fencing
Jingke concentrate spiritual energy and after landing the blow a powerful shock wave will follow a great distance forward, depending on the amount of strength Jingke put the shock wave can split even large rivers and open the highest clouds in the sky surpass Saitama straight several times over.
Dimensional Cut
Being wielded by Wang Ling he can bypass countless dimensional wall with minimal effort.
Flight
Jingke can fly in both sword and spirit form.
His flying speed can be seen when it managed to leave Saturn's orbit and return to Earth in a matter of milliseconds.
Insulating
Being a wooden sword taken from a peach tree Jingke it is completely insulating against strong electrical waves, allowing its user to not suffer major damage even if Jingke cuts an energy wire.
Transformation
It is able to transition from sword to spirit form instantly.
Power Detection
Jingke can sense traces of spiritual energy from a considerable distance and multiple directions at an incredible speed, being able to say which location is safe or not.
Wild Mode (Manhua mode)
When going out of control, his personality completely reverses and he is attracted to people with the hairiest legs who are nearby.
Luminescence
Jingke, both in his spirit and sword form, can use his spirit energy to light up his surroundings like a lantern. Wang Ling used this to look for the birthday eggs.
Fusion
Jingke can merge with white sheath and transform into a much more powerful entity called Jingbai. They share the same existence but as an entirely different entity.
Relationships[]
Wang Ling[]
Jingke is completely devoted and obedient to his master Wang Ling. It can go years without manifesting itself if it wishes. Jingke is always on the lookout and will always try to warn master about something that draw his attention, in order to always notify him of anything It may happen. Jingke will always follow all his orders, regardless of magnitude or purpose.
Bai Qiao[]
When he saw her for the first time he already recognized her, and was quite surprised and happy. She turned out to be the key to getting Jingke out of awakened mode. Being siblings they are both protective of each other.
Sun Rong[]
Knowing that she is important to his master, Jingke shows respect for her, in addition to occasionally talking to her. Jingke in season two let her use him, something he wouldn't normally do with just anyone.
Ocean[]
Being of opposite genders, Ocean ended up being attracted to Jingke after he entered awakening mode. After Ling forcibly separated them, she looked very heartbroken, even crying, much to Rong's complete confusion.
Tuntian Ha[]
Now being one of Wang Ling's subordinates, they are on good terms.
Lin Xiaoyu[]
Somehow Jingke inexplicably found Xiaoyu familiar, since he and the Sword Sister had met before and Xiaoyu had already interacted with her in the past.
Demon Master[]
After Tuntian Ha gave a brief description about his master, Jingke said that he must be awesome for living as long as the universe.
Zhuo Yi[]
In the manhua version, he was extremely annoyed that he tried to use him, and even wondered why he, a human with such pathetic spiritual power, is trying to use him.

- Jingke is voiced by XiXi from season 1 to 3 and Fu Ting Yun in season 4.
- He is 1.43 meters tall and weighs 30 kgs.
- Just like his master, he likes crispy noodle snacks.
