Sun Wukong Mythology
(孫悟空), also known as the Monkey King or the Great Sage, is a legendary hero in The Daily Life Of Immortal King.
Summary[]
He is the ancestor of the entire Sun family and in the past, killed hundreds of demons.
Appearance[]
He looks like a young adult with lots of hair that covers a majority of his face. Both his hair and eyes are golden and he uses a purple gold crown with phoenix wings in its head, and wears gold plated armor, he also wears a red cape.
Personality[]
He is intelligent, cheerful, loyal and has an aversion to evil by nature. He is generally seen by others as a representation of wit and bravery.
He is very confident in his abilities and as he is very powerful he can be seen as clueless as his actions and questions are often dry; direct and often seen as disrespectful and outrageous.
He doesn't have the courage to kill his subordinates, even if they are transformed, out of control and want to face him.
Story[]
Sun Wukong was born from a mystical rock formed by the energy of chaos, in the Mountain of Flowers and Fruits.
When looking for a weapon worthy of his person, Sun Wukong dived into the oceans and picked up Ruyi Jingu Bang/Ding Hai Shen Zhen (如意金箍棒/定海神针), the legendary Golden Staff, the object was originally used by Dà-Yǔ to measure the depth of the oceans. As Wukong approached, the staff glowed, indicating that the object had found its true master.
Monkey King then challenged the deities of Hell who were trying to take his soul. Ordered to reincarnate like all living beings he not only refused to do so, but also erased his name from the "Book of Life and Dead". During his invasion of the underworld he defeated several guards and went to the palace of the former Yama, he started by destroying parts of the palace of Yama in order to threaten and intimidate him, but he ended up scaring his daughter Yan Xiaoluo, who would become his disciple.
With the book of life and death in hand, he made all his monkey subordinates acquire immortality, in which he was referenced and worshiped in what is now the Sun family waterfall.
He ended up being trapped in a sealing after losing a bet with the buddha himself.
After 500 years in prison, Monkey King became one of Tang Sanzang’s subordinates during your journey to East ( India ) to recover Buddhist sutras, in exchange for their freedom. The Great Monk's safety was often threatened by demons and other supernatural beings, who wanted to devour his flesh, believing that this would gain them immortality. during his journey, Monkey King was responsible for killing hundreds of demons, something the demonic race would never forget and would acquire a hatred for him and all his descendants.
Sun Wukong acted as a bodyguard and had free access to celestial powers to combat threats. The group faced a series of eighty-one tribulations before completing the mission and safely returning to home. There, Monkey King was recognized by buddhists for his services and efforts.
Techniques[]
Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Staff)
A mighty staff that weighed 8.1 tons and changed size as well as multiplied depending on its master's wishes in a fight. When not in use, Wukong shrinks it down to the size of a needle and tucks it behind its ears.

He was described by Yan Xiaoluo's subordinate as having a head of bronze and fists of iron.
72 transformations
He is able to change its form to any person or object. This technique also granted a kind of regeneration because even having his head cut off he magically managed to make it appear again quickly.

Monkey King can reach 54,000 km in a single jump.

He is able to transform each of the 84,000 hairs on his body into objects and people, even duplicates of himself.

Monkey King's medical skills were miraculous, relying on the transmission of a fine wire, he was able to diagnose what kind of problem does a person have with just the heartbeat.

He can see through the disguises of demons and monsters.
Relations[]
Yan Xiaoluo: During the battle in Naraka (Hell Realm) he ended up scaring her, he in turn decided that it would be a very good help to have Yama daughter on his side. 2000 years later he decided to teach her some of his techniques after she requested. He also help her several times every time she calls him.
Tang Sanzang: The constant moral lessons for him and the fact that he didn't believe him when he said that these people he killed were actually demons in disguise made him feel very powerless, despite this he followed through on his role to protect the Monk during his mission.
