Zhuo Yi (卓異) is a secondary character of The Daily Life of the Immortal King series.
Summary[]
Zhuo Yi is a formidable cultivator and the former leader of Seven Star Squadron who used to study at the 60TH High. He's been a long time known and acclaimed hero of Songhai and protector of all the citizens of Huaxiu, as well as the apprentice of Wang Ling.
Appearance[]
Zhuo Yi appears as a young adult man with blond hair and blue eyes, he has a goatee and is usually seen wearing a business suit over a dress shirt light purple and a blue tie.
When on a Seven Star Squadron operation he is usually seen wearing the standard Seven Star Squadron uniform.
Personality[]
Generally motivated he inspire others with their enthusiasm and warmth.
Very organized he always works hard in his role as leader of the Seven Star Squadron. He is generally very good at managing time; resources and tends to take work very seriously, assuming his position in a long workload, much to the chagrin of his subordinates, who work 12 hours a day for 6 days a week.
He was seen to be very brave because even though he was just a trainee he decided to risk his life, in what would be, to save the life of a little kid against the Giant Frog.
Story[]
Zhuo Yi was born in 4368, from humble beginnings but with great talent in the art of cultivation.
His efforts during the preparatory cultivation school drew attention from the director of 60TH High, which granted him a direct entry to the school, at age 18, in 4386. He was responsible for 60TH High to a draw against 59TH High during the 4386 edition of the annual spirit sword competition, making it the first time that 60TH High did not lose against 59TH High during a competition edition. This and other feats assured him quickly to promoted as become a intern member at Seven Star Squadron. In the same year happened what was called in Songhai as the first demonic invasion, where an level 5 demon, the great demon lord Invaded and attacked the city of Songhai, causing great devastation and killing a member of the seven star squadron. Zhuo Yi protected a 6-year-old Wang Ling, who was eating noodles in the street alone, thinking he was saving him, Zhuo Yi asks him to get out of there as soon as possible. Wang Ling then defeats the demon lord with just one blow, which knocks him out, Wang Ling then manipulates Zhuo Yi's memories, who ends up thinking that he was the one who defeated the demon lord. With Songhai City Saved, Songhai Cultivation Department Acclaims Zhuo Yi as New Seven-Star Squadron Leader and Hero of Songhai.
In the year 4394, Zhuo Yi participated in the overthrow of a branch of Shadow Faction who was still loyal to Jiang Liuyue.
In August 4396, the second demonic invasion took place, where Zhuo Yi participated in the protection of Songhai.
On September 29, 4396 the Seven Star Squad was called to deal with a mysterious and powerful swordswoman. Both Zhuo Yi and his colleagues ended up being pressured to retreat and had their swords damaged.
Some time in October 4396 Seven Star Squadron was assigned to protect the transport of a item that was to be auctioned at the Songhai Grand Auction. However, the object was stolen, but it was quickly retrieved by Thunder Lord, where Zhuo Yi seemed happy to see him again. Zhuo Yi was then responsible as one of the security guards at the auction. Wang Ling later calls him asking him to bid on one of the auction objects and transfers him money, something Zhuo Yi obeys. Later, in the same day Zhuo Yi delivery the object over to his master.
Few days later Zhuo Yi went to investigate the exorcism group, a foreign group from Sunland. Zhuo Yi ended up surrounded by several demons that were paid by the Kyuumiya family and ended up being defeated and humiliated by the demons, something that was seen and recorded by a mobile camera thrown by Yoshiko Kyuumiya, Zhuo Yi found that Wang Ling had modified his memories and some time later Wang Ling meets Zhuo and asks him if he wanted everyone to forget that it ever happened, something Zhuo Yi denies, Zhuo then asks his master why he chose him, Ling then answers saying he was a true hero for his dedication to work, this moved Zhuo who said that he will really train for to be a real powerful hero.
Zhuo Yi travels to Sunland to investigate the Kyuumiya family, but Yoshiko was already waiting for him and prepares an ambush that causes him to be teleported into the Kyuumiya volcano, where several demons were trapped. But Zhuo Yi managed to survive a few days until Wang Ling and Yoshiko Kyuumiya herself were teleported there as well. Zhuo Yi fought some demons after they fled the volcano after Tuntian Ha break the seal, using Monkey King’s Golden Staff. Later that day, Yoshiko awkwardly apologizes for what she did and thanks him for saving her country.

Wang Ling: At first he thought he was just a kid civilian, and he decided to protect him and asked him to move away from the conflict zone against the Demon Toad, however, Wang Ling manages to defeat him easily. Wang Ling then changes Zhuo Yi's memories so that he legitimately thinks that he was the one who defeated the demon. Despite this, he still retained the memories that Wang Ling was extremely powerful, and therefore from that moment on he regarded him as a master from whom he could learn many things. He holds him in high regard and after discovering the truth asked him to remain with those memories so that he could have the opportunity to be truly powerful like Huaxiu claimed that he was.
Jiang Liuying: He considers her a dangerous cultivator leader of a large faction of assassins. He tried several times to capture her and used to tease her on television about her capture. possibly in love with her a feeling she is seen sharing despite not acknowledging it much
Tuntian Ha: During their first meeting, he knew how dangerous this demon was, and he was concerned about Songhai's integrity. After his defeat and sealing, he and Seven Star Squadron already considered him a controlled calamity. When he was turned into a dog Zhuo Yi was no longer afraid of him as he knew that Wang Ling would control the situation and that this demon would try not to cause trouble. After for a while, he came to trust him and his abilities when he asked where a runaway demon had gone.
Thunder Lord: They look like old acquaintances, he looked happy to see him on the train. They were seen talking casually at the auction.
